@DebbieBMoon: #scriptchat Honest question: execs are busy people, drowning in scripts: are they going to take the time to seek out more, even from the BL?
October 21, 2012, 7:08 pm

@TaroJ: For those that don't know can you tell us a bit more about the blacklist and what the organisation is famous for? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:08 pm

@theblcklst: @teenierussell Depends entirely on its evaluations. The best are spotlighted via email and on the site to industry pros. #scriptchat

October 21, 2012, 7:09 pm

@TaroJ: As the submission list grows and grows how do you keep on top of it? How many readers do you have? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:10 pm

@theblcklst: @ijoda07 Industry pros are approved based on the extent they're involved in reading, working w/ writers, and making movies. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:10 pm

@theblcklst: @TaroJ We currently have several dozen readers. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:11 pm

@Perczynski: @theblcklst Sounds interesting... What if (positive thinking style) someone wants to buy the script submitted to Blacklist? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:11 pm

@theblcklst: @rocioigl Yes. You can remove your script at any moment. #scriptchat

@theblcklst: @Perczynski They contact the writer directly. We don't take a commission, finder's fee, or claim producer credit. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:11 pm

@theblcklst: BTW, one can follow me personally at @franklinleonard. A fair amount of writing talk, also politics, (Euro) football, and more. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:13 pm

@Perczynski: @theblcklst @teenierussell So when submissions are no more accepted? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:14 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst if the fee is per month then supposedly someone can resubmit the same script? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:14 pm

@rdlln: .@theblcklst any plans to share the love connections made between reps + writers? #scriptchat

@theblcklst: @teenierussell Yes, they could. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:15 pm

@theblcklst: @rdlln With permission of the writer, yes. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:16 pm

@Perczynski: @theblcklst Do you think that it is the good place for a foreign screenwriter 2 make a breakthrough? Any examples of such story? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:17 pm

@theblcklst: It's probably worth mentioning that writers of submitted scripts can track the volume of traffic to their script via the site. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:17 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst so if I were to for example submit a terrible script and then keep on paying monthly... #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:17 pm

@theblcklst: @Perczynski Service just started Monday, so it's a bit early for success stories. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:17 pm

@theblcklst: @teenierussell If you continued to get poor evaluations from our readers and low ratings, I would encourage you to remove it. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:18 pm

@theblcklst: Also worth mentioning that it's the writer's sole decision whether to make their average rating or indiv evaluations public. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:18 pm

@theblcklst: We want to celebrate good scripts, but we've embraced a "do no harm" policy generally. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:19 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst ah, that was my next point, cool. Do we get to see the evaluations and ratings or are those private? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:19 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst cross posted, so we see the evaluation and rating! #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:20 pm

@theblcklst: @teenierussell Yes, the writer will be able to see their overall average and each individual paid evaluation. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:20 pm

@Perczynski: @theblcklst It looks like a nice tool. I hope to submit my feature as soon as I finish it #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:21 pm

@rdlln: .@theblcklst can writers take down scripts at anytime or do they have to initiate by asking? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:21 pm

@rocioigl: @theblcklst can you have more than on script in the site at the same time? (I'm guessing the $25 fee is per script) #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:22 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst Sorry, just to clarify, the rating is offered as part of the $25 service and the evaluation as part of $50 service? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:22 pm

@theblcklst: @Perczynski Glad to hear it. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:22 pm

@theblcklst: @rdlln We won't take it down on our own. But you can remove it whenever you'd like. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:22 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst For those not in the US, should the scripts all be registered with the WGA before submitting? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:22 pm

@theblcklst: @rocioigl Yes, you can, but the fee is $25/script/month #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:23 pm

@Perczynski: @theblcklst Can I submit a original tv series also? #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:23 pm

@theblcklst: @teenierussell No. The $25 gets your script hosted on the site each month. The $50 gets you the evaluation. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:23 pm

@theblcklst: @teenierussell We encourage it. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:24 pm

@theblcklst: @Perczynski We're only equipped for feature films at the moment. Should be expanding to television in the near future. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:24 pm

October 21, 2012, 7:29 pm

@theblcklst: @tryingtrue We do not provide coverage or notes in a classic sense. An abbreviated evaluation only. A scorecard, if you will. #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:29 pm

@teenierussell: @theblcklst not bad at all based on the volume of submissions so far! #scriptchat
October 21, 2012, 7:30 pm
